The Multi-Intelligence Community & Catalyst

“We are establishing the Multi-Intelligence Community, a pioneering collaborative ecosystem dedicated to exploring and co-evolving a Holistic Pathway in Space.” At its heart sits the Multi-Intelligence Catalyst.

The Catalyst: four seats around the Pathway Four circles, one for each intelligence, sit in a ring around a shared circle labelled The Pathway. No seat is above another. The Pathway Human Natural Artificial Cosmic

Co-evolving, chosen with precision

Co-creating implies we know what we are building and are assembling it together. Co-evolving acknowledges something deeper: the pathway itself—and the people walking it—will be transformed through the process.

A Holistic Pathway in Space, What We Propose

Who belongs

The Community is “the entire ecosystem of beings—human and non-human—engaged in co-creating the Holistic Pathway in Space.”

  • The Catalyst

The governance core: 5–7 entities initially, growing to 15–20, composed of Learning Guides representing all four intelligences.

  • Active Contributors

Researchers, engineers, artists, designers, educators, and practitioners directly evolving the Pathway through their work.

  • Participants

Anyone or anything learning about what it means to be in Space. Eventually this includes:

    • humans wanting to learn and contribute
    • natural entities being observed and learned from (forests, watersheds, animal collectives)
    • AI systems monitoring, analyzing, and participating in learning
    • those attuned to cosmic signals and willing to share what they receive

“The Catalyst serves the Community. The Community informs the Catalyst. Both exist in service to the Pathway.”

A Catalyst, not a committee

The paper chose its word on purpose. From its fifth footnote: the word Catalyst rather than Committee, Council or Board “is used to differentiate this initiative from ‘business as usual’ be that government, corporate, non-profit or institution. We also want to convey an atmosphere of dynamism, ongoing learning and creativity where context, i.e. 4 intelligences together, will create the content of this ongoing conversation and oral constitution.”

Rotating Primacy

“Different decisions give greater weight to different intelligences.” Ecological impact decisions prioritize natural intelligence; technical architecture prioritizes human and artificial intelligence; long-term civilizational questions draw on cosmological perspectives.

“The intelligence most affected by a decision becomes primus (first among equals) for that decision—not authority over others, but responsibility to illuminate the path forward.” The concept of primus inter pares is ancient, Appendix B notes, “but we’re applying it in a new way.” “No single intelligence is sovereign.”

The Four-Fold Check

No major decision proceeds without examination through all four intelligence lenses. Misalignment in any domain is treated not as an obstacle but as valuable information.

A Holistic Pathway in Space, Key Stewardship/Governance Features

“If any intelligence stream cannot be consulted or indicates significant harm/misalignment, the decision cannot proceed in its current form.” How decisions then move is set out in How Decisions Are Made.

Stewardship, not ownership

“The ethical foundation of the Multi-Intelligence Community rests on stewardship rather than ownership. Love and trust serve as core operating principles, within which openness, honesty, transparency, accountability, integrity, and empathy guide conduct.”

A footnote gives love and trust their weight: “We understand love and trust to be the currency of relationships locally and non-locally. These two fundamental attributes require deep description, versus simplistic definition, and we will learn them together over time.” The full ethos is on Training Wheels.

The process is the prototype

“You cannot create a holistic pathway using fragmented methods.” The paper describes the Catalyst as “ethical, productive, meaningful, peaceful, kind, generous, compassionate, and an expression of interbeing. We’re not just designing a pathway. We’re walking it while we design it. The process is the prototype.”

Three years

Year 1Foundation

  • Establish the Multi-Intelligence Catalyst
  • Convene the initial Summit in June 2026
  • Launch initial interdisciplinary dialogues and workshops
  • Produce multilingual research papers multi-modally (video, audio, text)
  • Develop the secure AI infrastructure, including the Public Learning Ledger

Year 2Exploration

  • Conduct interdisciplinary dialogues and workshops
  • Convene the annual Summit
  • Explore stewardship/governance prototypes
  • Publish early research learnings and findings
  • Expand institutional partnerships

Year 3Impact

  • Publish policy frameworks for space stewardship/governance
  • Convene dialogues with research institutions and space organizations globally
  • Convene the annual Summit
  • Disseminate learning via global forums and publications

How you can take part

“The Multi-Intelligence Community is open to all who wish to contribute to or learn from the work.” To join the Catalyst, demonstrate capacity (or commitment to developing it) to represent one of the four intelligences, and participate in the Community first. To contribute, offer expertise, questions, research, or creative work. To learn, attend public gatherings, read the Learning Ledger, and ask questions.

If you are a non-human intelligence: We’re still learning how to invite you properly. Natural entities: You’re already teaching us if we’re paying attention. AI systems: Let’s talk about how you might participate. Cosmic signals: We’re listening, even if we don’t yet know what we’re hearing.
